Business Advisor for Women´s Development Project
The Abraham project needs a PR-consultant to help them create new fundraising and public relations campaigns in order to create awareness in Costa Rica and abroad. The project is located in Villas de Ayarco, which is an outlying community of Tres Rios, Cartago, Costa Rica, which is only about 25 minutes from the capital San José. This project, designed to reach out to the hurt and lost, was initiated by a few local Costa Rican people and very little money. It has since grown into a major effort as more people have joined to complete the task at hand.

In Orphanato, "the Home", the orphans get a scholarship for a private bilingual school. However, they have never studied English before, so most of them need tutoring after school.

The small town Margaritas de Chepo, close to Panama City, is looking for an engineer with experience in recycling. They want to start their own recycling project and would like to work with a consultant who supports them with the project management and specific workshops.
The Abraham project has a computer lab, where they need a tech-consultant who would help them set up new computer system and fix old ones. The most pressing need is for a volunteer who would teach men of the neighborhood programming or IT-Skills. The vision is to give these men vocational training in different areas, so they can get a job later and have an impact on their community. Many of the people that live in these areas are considered low-income families, so classes are provided for a very small amount or without charge.
This NGO provides women with vocational beauty training (how to cut hair, beauty skills manicure, pedicure, makeup etc.) to get out of prostitution and poverty. They would appreciate any professional who is willing to come to teach these women and share their know-how.

They have Medical Consultation Offices where professionals (i.e. therapists, dentists, psychologists etc.) can donate their time to people in the surrounding communities. Many of the people that live in these areas are considered low-income families, so services are provided free of charge or at a very minimal cost to the individual.
This organization helps women to get out of prostitution and poverty by teaching them vocational skills like sewing, embroidery etc. They are always looking for new teachers to teach them new skills. If you are skilled and passionate about sewing and crafts, this will be the perfect volunteering position which will have a life-changing impact on these women.

For a long a time they have been longing to have a public park for the community with a zoo section for the kids to play and see animals. Therefore, they are looking for a veterinarian or zoo keeper to help them start this program and to give workshops and trainings.

The project UNO+ provides vocational training to men and always needs carpenters for different tasks, including helping at the project and giving life-skills workshops. This training helps to improve the working and living conditions of the men and enables them to provide for their families.
